Wennsoft introduceds new enhancements in version 8.0 release

WennSoft, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, announced today the general release of version 8.0, delivering new functionality and enhancements across its core product offerings. The 8.0 version release includes new product offerings and features designed to benefit WennSoft customers by helping them to proactively control costs, manage labor and increase customer satisfaction – driving a greater ROI from their WennSoft solution.

 

The WennSoft core software product line includes the Service Management Series, Job Cost and Equipment Management Series, all of which benefited from new functionality introduced with version 8.0.  Each of the products provide distinctly unique business management benefits and tie common business activities, such as dispatching, change orders, construction project management and asset management, into a business’ financial reporting packages.  All products integrate into Microsoft® Business Solutions - Great Plains®.

 

WennSoft solutions are designed specifically to help companies streamline their business process and enable analytics to drive proactive decisions that will increase efficiencies and reduce expenses.

 Highlights across Service Management, Job Cost and Equipment Management Series include user interface modifications designed to improve usability and remain consistent with Microsoft Business Solutions – Great Plains, an improved eProducts installation and new sample data.

Just a few of the additional product enhancements and new features to the WennSoft product offering in the 8.0 version include:

 

·         TimeTrack – Excel Client - Offered with Service Management Series and Job Cost, WennSoft introduces a stand-alone version of the current eTimeTrack feature with expense Management, allowing time and expenses to be entered without a user being connected to the Internet.

 

·         Additional user-defined fields in Job Cost – Within the Job Cost product a new user-defined field window has been added to provide users with the capability to capture user-defined information and tailor the application to fit their specific needs.

 

·         Intercompany Accounts Payable entry for jobs and service calls – Available in both Job Cost and Service Management Series, this feature allows for users to enter transactions for jobs and service calls in another company, providing an efficient means for centralized accounts payable facilitation.

 

·         Salaried employee time entry in TimeTrack – Offered with Service Management Series and Job Cost, and expanding on the scope and effectiveness of TimeTrack, this new feature allows for users to enter hourly, salaried or any combination of employee time via TimeTrack.

 

·         Scheduled Maintenance Module – Within the Equipment Management Series, version 8.0 introduces a Scheduled Maintenance Module giving users the ability to schedule equipment maintenance, set meter readings to trigger service calls and leverage reporting capabilities.
